On-Staff Legal Counsel

Pioneer's experienced staff attorneys offer a range of compliance services to both employers and carriers. Compliance services include drafting Certificates of Insurance, auditing and updating Plan Documents/Summary Plan Descriptions, filing insured products and/or annual information required of carriers, preparing Form 5500s on behalf of self-funded benefit plans, and serving as liaison with state regulators. Another sometimes overlooked but critical employer service provided by Pioneer on a stand-alone basis is COBRA administration.
